KWAZULU-NATAL – A 41-years-old suspect is in custody following his arrest by Hawks members from Serious Organised Crime Investigation this morning. He was arrested for dealing in drug and possession of drugs.
The team conducted an intelligence driven operation after receiving information about a suspect who was dealing in drugs at Westham area, Phoenix. They swooped in at the suspect’s residence and a thorough search was conducted. Upon searching the suspect’s bedroom heroine capsules and mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R38 530.00.
He was subsequently placed under arrest and charged. The arrested suspect is expected to appear in the Phoenix Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 14 May 2021.
