The famous Pink Lady® Apple brand of South Africa’s True Cape won the hearts of Mauritians last Friday with 50 ladies, led by The Minister of Gender Equality, Child Development and Family Welfare. The ladies were treated to High Tea and intimate discussion where the Warriors narrated their breast cancer plight in living and breaking the silence for a dreaded illness. The corporate women invited had a lot to learn from these warriors about check up, and relationships with loved ones and mainly children on how to communicate to them on hair, weight and physical changes, including sleeping too much.
Before the Minister delivered her speech, a poem was recited to honour the women gone ahead and salute the ones present and firgting the war.
Entire theme was “Spread the Love” and indeed it was a love sharing moment for all present.
The biggest Pink Ribbon Cake was cut by the Minister accompanied by the ladies from SKC Surat all clad in Pink cricket hats as was all other guests.
A fundraiser of branded mugs worth 4,000.00 rand was conducted and sold in a flash.
