WESTERN CAPE – Yolanda Faith Myburg (44), has appeared in the Kuilsriver Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday following her arrest on the same day by the Western Cape Hawks Commercial Crime Unit.
Myburg has been charged with fraud valued at approximately R9.million, allegedly perpetrated against DHL in the Kempton Park area over a period of time and she has been on the run since her co-accused was arrested in 2016.
A warrant of arrest was consequently issued culminating in the Hawks’ ATM Task team essentially putting paid to her borrowed freedom.
She has been remanded in custody and is expected to make a follow-up court appearance in the Johannesburg Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on 21 February 2017.
