The IFP has welcomed the appointment of the new SA Reserve Bank Governor, Mr Lesetja Kganyago.
“We believe that Mr Kganyago, who will assume his new role as Reserve Bank Governor will add positive impetus to South Africa’s economy. Congratulations to Mr Kganyago. I have no doubt that he will rise to
the occasion and help strengthen this key institution,” said IFP spokesperson on Finance, Ms Sibongile Nkomo, MP.
“Mr Kganyago brings a wealth of experience to the Reserve Bank at a critical juncture in its history which we believe will only augur well for the institution and the country,” concluded Ms Nkomo, MP.
The IFP also thanks the retiring Reserve Bank Governor Ms Gill Marcus for the contribution she made during her tenure as Reserve Bank Governor.
