World number three quad ace Lucas Sithole and the country’s top women’s player Kgothatso Montjane who jetted off last night to Brazil for the Rio Paralympics both garnered one each. The nomination of the Federation’s General Manager, Karen Losch for the Administrator of the year completed Wheelchair Tennis South Africa’s magnificent year and could claim five awards this year.
Wheelchair Tennis South Africa General Manager Karen Losch said: “We are extremely overjoyed with the five nominations we received last night. It is a privilege and an honour for our athletes and myself to be recognized on this prestige level. We wouldn’t have achieved all these if it wasn’t of the generous sponsorship from Airports Company South Africa, the game sponsor”
