KWAZULU-NATAL – Hawks members in KwaZulu-Natal have arrested Nothile Zungu (43), Siyabonga Kunene (39), Pertunia Ntombela (33), Goodness Mdlalose (52), Malibongwe Mdletse (38) and Siphamandla Sibiya (32) for conspiracy to commit murder which happened at Vulamehlo area in Nquthu last year.
An information was received through Crime Intelligence that the six allegedly plotted to kill certain individuals in the area for political-related matters. They were arrested on Thursday, 20 April 2017 and charged accordingly.
The accused briefly appeared in the Nquthu Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 21 April 2017 and were granted R7000.00 bail each. The case was postponed to 31 May 2017.
