NORTHERN CAPE – A 36 year old suspect is expected to appear before Kimberley Magistrate court on Monday, 26 July 2021 for allegedly being in possession of illicit products.
The suspect was arrested on Friday after information surfaced about illicit products that were supposed to be transported from Kimberley to Upington.
An intelligence driven operation was conducted by an integrated police team comprising of Serious Commercial Crime Investigation, Local Criminal Record Centre and Kimberley Visible policing which led to the arrest of the suspect.
The vehicle was stopped and searched. During the search, illicit products including tabacco,baking powders and roll-ons were recovered.
