Three more suspects are to appear this morning in the Durban Specialised Commercial Crimes Court following their arrests earlier this morning by the National Clean Audit task team.
The suspects who are councillors aged between 44 and 47 are part of the ongoing investigation by the Directorate for Priority Crimes Investigation into corruption related activities within the eThekwini Municipality.
The suspects are alleged to have been part of the investigation by National Clean Audit Task Team into fraud and corruption within the eThekwini Mucipality’s Durban Solid Waste (DSW) tender are facing charges of fraud, corruption and money laundering.
