Nanjing, China – Seventeen year old Lloyd Harris of Cape Town, Western Province ended his Youth Olympic Games campaign in Nanjing, China on Tuesday. Harris was beaten in round two of the singles by seventh seed Kamil Majchrzak of Poland, 2-6 0-6.
In the doubles first round, Harris teamed up with Guy Iradukunda of Burundi. Harris and Iradukunda lost to the Polish combination of Kamil Majchrzak and Jan Zielinski on Monday in round one.
Harris will now travel to New York where he will join the ITF Junior Touring team and play in the Junior US Open followed by the U18 Canadian World Ranking Event in Montreal.
