Pretoria –The Administrative Officer at the at the Department of Health in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga and two company directors were arrested on Wednesday night for attempting to defraud the department of close to R1 million.
The two company directors had connived with the official to prepare and submit fraudulent tax invoices in order to misrepresent that IT equipment to the value of R980 000 has been supplied to the department.
The three suspects will appear before the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court today (Thursday) facing charges of fraud.
