The Inaugural Vice-Chancellor’s Cycle Challenge will take place on at 09:30 on Sunday, 17 October 2021. Please see the attached poster for all the relevant details. The poster also includes clickable links to the University website (for race entry information), the VC’s video message and the designated cycling route.
The VC’s Cycle Challenge is our first major community engagement activity that we are undertaking under the leadership of Professor Andrew Crouch. It is a strategic priority for the University that we host high impact, public community engagement activities that help us to become embedded in the community. We therefore hope that you will either participate in the Cycle Challenge or attend the event as a spectator.
There is also a flea market on the Oppenheimer Memorial Gardens where the bulk of the activities will take place. Bring your loved ones along and enjoy a few hours of connecting with the wider Kimberley community.
Note: Entries for registration will be open until 17 October 2021 and can be done at the event.
