South African Police Service to expose children to workplace experience during the ‘Take a child to Work’ campaign.
PRETORIA: 19 May 2022 – The South African Police Service will on Friday, 20 May 2022 open its doors to children and expose them to the functioning of various disciplines within the SAPS as part of the annual ‘Take a Child to Work’ campaign.
The campaign, which is held in the month of May each year, sees various government departments and private entities participating in the ‘Take a Child to Work’ campaign which aims to provide opportunities for children to experience the workplace environment of various sectors. Learners from various schools around the Pretoria District, especially those in grades 10-12 will have an opportunity to tour various SAPS Divisions and learn more about career paths within the South African Police Service.
