NORTHERN CAPE – A joint operation comprising of the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation’s Narcotics Enforcement Bureau and Kimberley K9 led to the arrest of three foreign nationals aged between 28 and 32 on Thursday for dealing in drugs.
Information was received regarding drugs that were stored at different locations in Postmasburg area. An operation was conducted wherein, upon searching the premises, tik, cat and dagga with an estimated street value of R15 000 were recovered. The operation also resulted in a 9mm pistol being seized for further investigation.
All arrested suspects are expected to appear before the Postmasburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 18 January 2021.
