Malawian National bust for human trafficking

PRETORIA – A sting operation comprising members of the Hawks, Crime Intelligence and the Department of Home Affairs has led to the arrest of a Malawian national for human trafficking in Johannesburg on Thursday. Pretoria – Paralympian Oscar Pistorius has been sentenced to five years in prison for the culpable homicide of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day last year. Pistorius was also sentenced to three years, suspended for five years, for firing a pistol under a table at Tasha’s restaurant, in Johannesburg, in January 2013. SCA dismisses President Zuma appeal over tapes

Bloemfontein – Justice Mahomed Solomon Navsa of the Supreme Court of Appeal dismissed President Jacob Zuma’s application to prevent the release of taped recordings with costs.  The recordings will now be handed over to the Democratic Alliance.
